Windows & Doors

Window and Door Installation in Western Massachusetts

Most window problems are installation problems, not window problems. A good unit installed without proper flashing, shimming and air sealing will leak, stick and cost you on heating. Westfield Builders replaces windows and exterior doors the right way: square, plumb, properly flashed and sealed, with the trim and siding put back so it looks original. One of our reviews is simply a homeowner noting we installed two windows quickly and did a quality job.

Why Choose Us

Why Install With Westfield Builders

Lower Heating Bills

Old single pane and failed double pane windows are where a Massachusetts heating bill goes. Replacement is one of the fastest paybacks in the house.

Full Frame or Insert

Insert replacements are cheaper and faster. Full frame is the right call when the frame or sill is rotted. We tell you which you are looking at.

Flashed and Sealed

Water gets in around windows, not through them. Sill pans, flashing tape and proper sealant are how the install lasts.

Doors Too

Entry doors, sliders, French doors and storm doors, including reframing an opening to change a window into a door.

Our Process

How Window and Door Work Runs

1

Measure and Assess

We measure every opening and check for rot at the sills and jambs, so the quote reflects what is actually behind the trim.

2

Selection and Order

You pick units and finishes. We order and schedule around lead times so the house is not open waiting on delivery.

3

Install

Old units out, openings repaired where needed, new units set, flashed, insulated and sealed. Usually one opening at a time so the house stays closed up.

4

Trim and Cleanup

Interior and exterior trim, caulk, paint touch up, debris hauled away, and a walkthrough on every opening.
